An investigation on dam settlement during and end of construction using instrumentation data and numerical analysis

Abstract In the present study, using instrumentation data regarding vertical and horizontal displacement of dam have been analyzed. Also, largest most critical section Marvak earth is modeled with behavioral model Mohr–Coulomb by GeoStudio software. Numerical modeling has done considering actual embankment conditions to analyze changes immediate settlement during construction consolidation just after initial impounding. The outcomes numerical analysis at end showed a between 20 500 mm. results show that will occur upper levels middle dam. By comparing observed predicted data, multivariate regression explanation coefficient criterion (R 2 ) was found be R = 0.9579, which shows very good correlation represents match for points their location design, behavior in terms stable.
